Possibly caught in some pair of headlights... Mike is a photographer and visual anthropologist in Berlin, Germany.
He finished a B.A. in Mass Communication from the University of Utah in 2010 and was awarded a scholarship as a Fine Art, Music, Architecture and Dance Graduate Grantee of the Deutsche Akademischer Austausch Dienst (DAAD) through which he earned an MA at the Freie Universität Berlin. Mike teaches and works at the same university as a researcher in the department of Visual and Media Anthropology at the Institute of Social and Cultural Anthropology.
Since graduation he has continued to work as an image maker and press manager in the music industry, as well as film for German theater and opera productions. He developed and lectures the MA course 'Space & Place' and also lectures in the course 'Digital Anthropology.'
