Max Richter - Examples from promotional campaign for the original score ‘Ad Astra’
I shot and produced a series of medium length videos on the concept for the film score from which I then created shorter assets for TVC, social media and other uses. These are especially useful in the continued promotion of a campaign and can easily be distributed among stakeholders (record label, film production company, etc) to be used adjacently. Below is a short ‘teaser’ followed by Part 1. of the three part video promotional campaign.

For this campaign I created 11 vignettes (1 - 2 min. videos) on the inspiration and background to some of the top tracks from the release using footage I had shot from on tour and around the studio and in some cases studio archive material. Below are two of these vignettes and lastly a TV commercial used for the vinyl release of the album.

Once dates and locations for a tour were set, I produced and collated media assets such as artists bio, programme notes, photos for poster and event programme needs and a short trailer video with the tour information. This was distributed among venues, booking agents, and the press dept. of the record label(s). In addition to supplying the venues with what they needed to properly promote the event, these media packages also maintained a consistent image and message across all tour communications and stakeholders. These campaigns were instrumental in the success of the tours and preserved positive relations with organisations and individuals we continued to work with on subsequent tours.
In addition to filming and producing assets in the documentary style, I was encouraged to create other more emotive imagery for promotional use, as seen in the promotional teaser for the Athens Fest below.
Max Richter - 2019 Annual Report Video
Annually I produced an emotive montage with various clips from the projects of the year. These videos were very effective not only as a ‘backstage view’ offered to followers and fans, but garnered very positive feedback from the venues, artists, orchestras and organisations we had worked with over the year. Simple gestures of goodwill and appreciation such as this helped us maintain positive relationships with our regular partners.

I was the principal editor and 2nd camera on the official music video by Yulia Mahr which garnered over a million views in 2019.
Max Richter - Campaign examples from 2020 release VOICES
I shot, directed and produced a 3 part video series on the background concepts and creation of Richter’s first solo release since 2015. From the same material I produced short teaser clips (last video) to be used on social media and TVC / demand advertising. These assets were produced and distributed in conjunction with press campaigns from Decca Records in the U.K. and internationally with Universal Music Group.
NEGS Armidale - Intro clip from Equestrian School
In 2020 I shot and produced several videos to highlight the equestrian centre and Jr. School at NEGS Armidale.
Josephine Trotter - Works on Paper
Example of short preview clip and medium length feature on U.K. painter Josephine Trotter in advance of her ‘Works on Paper’ exhibition at Green and Stone Gallery in London. The Oxfordshire based painter has over her impressive and lengthy career garnered praise from the likes of art critics Martin Gayford and William Packer as well as Royal Academy Curator Anne Dumas.
Angus Irvine Playing Fields Fund - Preview
In 2019 I shot, directed and produced a series of three medium length videos on specific sports clubs in the Manchester area who were supported by the AIPFF charity. This preview is from the Moss Side Boxing Club which was started by local boxers and firefighters who repurposed facilities at the fire station as an outreach centre for local youth.
